After the battle of Santa Croce in 1558, the noble Pallavicino family had a fortified villa built near the Po to defend its strategic position.

Nestled in the heart of Polesine Zibello, our family-owned winery combines rich Italian tradition with the creative spirit of its Norwegian owners, former artists who have brought their passion for art and travel into every aspect of the historic building.

Built on the historic grounds of an ancient Roman fort with roots dating back to 1200, our winery offers a unique blend of history, culture, and exceptional wines. The owners’ Scandinavian roots influence not only the wines we produce but the welcoming atmosphere we cultivate.

Using French vines, grown on the sandy soil that once hosted the bed of the Po, the winery produces dry red wines, handcrafted and aged. 

We also host unforgettable wedding receptions, creating an enchanting atmosphere for your special day, and offer rejuvenating yoga retreats that allow you to connect with nature and relax in a peaceful setting.
